MORE THAN 40 YEARS OF COMPETENCE AND EXPERIENCE
1964 Four young entrepreneurs found Nuova Roveco in a 220 sq.m. space, thereby setting up the first and only Italian pre-press company, dedicated entirely to the flexographic sector. With an approach based on attention and assistance, our goal is to offer the best flexo technology (micro zinc, magnesium, flong, and vulcanised rubber plates).
1977 The company changes premises and moves to MONZA (MB) investing in human resources and new technologies.
These were years of growth nationwide, and saw the change from a mainly regional dimension to an industrial company.
1987 Ahead of the times, due to their far-sightedness the owners go for a changeover from vulcanised rubber to photopolymer plates, and are the first in Italy to install a new, large size Du Pont Cyrel 2001® line, an automatic system for line production of photopolymer plates.
1997 DIGITAL FLEX s.r.l. is formed, the first company in Italy and among the first in Europe to install a flexo CTP system for making digital plates. At the same time FuturFlexo is set up, a company dedicated to outsourcing specialist personnel. The turnover of the newly established Nuova Roveco Group increases by 10% per year, to become the fourth biggest in Europe in terms of consumption of photopolymer materials.
2007 Production is extended by installing a new fully automatic production unit for engraving sleeves, which together with 1 dedicated flexo CTP makes it possible to produce continuous SEAMLESS digital photopolymer coated sleeves.
2010 HD flexo technology is introduced. This very new technology combines high resolution optics with excellent screen technology. The result is a significant improvement in quality: 4000 DPI and HD make it possible to handle hues with greater gradualness, thereby obtaining a wider range of colours.
